Connect a calendar

Connect Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, or CalDAV to synchronize events with Naboro.

Connect an external calendar so its events and availability can stay synchronized with Naboro.

Before you begin

  • Decide which calendar you want to connect: Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, or CalDAV.
  • Review your organization's privacy requirements for calendar data.
  • Confirm that the person connecting the calendar is authorized to grant calendar access.

Connect a calendar

  1. Start a calendar connection from Naboro.
  2. Choose Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, or CalDAV.
  3. Complete the provider's authorization flow.
  4. Review the connected calendar and confirm that Naboro is syncing as expected.

Naboro offers two-way calendar synchronization and explicitly resolves conflicts rather than silently double-booking a room.

Data used for synchronization

To provide calendar sync, Naboro can access calendar lists and read and write events. The service stores event titles, descriptions, times, recurrence, attendee names and email addresses, and attendee response statuses for connected calendars.

Calendar and meeting names can appear in the building audit log. Review this with your organization before connecting a calendar that contains sensitive information.

Disconnect a calendar

Disconnect a calendar in Naboro when it should no longer synchronize. Disconnecting stops sync and deletes the connection credentials and events imported from that calendar.

Optional: Compare room-display visibility

Room displays can expose meeting titles and organizer names to people physically at the room. See Use a room display before enabling displays for meetings that require additional discretion.
