Use a room display
Set up a room display for walk-up bookings, check-in, and room-status visibility.
Use a tablet-based room display to show room status and let people manage reservations at the door.
Before you begin
- Set up the shared room in Naboro.
- Choose a tablet or other browser-capable device for the room entrance.
- Decide whether displaying meeting titles and organizer names is appropriate for the location.
Set up a room display
- Place the device where people can see the room's status before entering.
- Open the room display for the shared room on the device.
- Verify that the display shows the correct room and current schedule.
- Test the reservation controls with a non-sensitive booking.
Room displays support walk-up booking, booking extensions, early endings, and check-in. Naboro can also automatically release reservations that are not attended.
Protect information shown at the door
A room display may expose meeting titles and organizer names to people physically near the room. Use the display only where that visibility matches your organization's privacy expectations.
For shared-calendar privacy between tenant organizations, see Book a shared room.
Optional: Use check-in to improve availability
Use check-in when you want people to confirm that a reservation is being used. Naboro can automatically release unattended bookings, returning the room to the shared schedule.
